February Book of the Month

Just in time for Black-History Month, Aaron Slater, Illustrator is the February book selection. This relatable story is about the love of reading and the trials our main character faces as he attempts to crack the code.

Our lovable character's namesake and passion for art come from Aaron Douglas, an African American painter, muralist, and graphic artist. Beaty addresses the struggles of dyslexia in this beautifully rhythmic book.

This book is another in the Questioneer collection.

Come to THE ISTHMUS and have a listen!
